DELETE!!!

The hardest thing for me to do in life is to delete negative people. I've never been so happy. I feel so light that these people do not feed on me. I always try to bring out the best in them... it really does not work.

Gone are the days that I do my charity work. As what Tom Ford says, "It's so last season." I would like to thank Mystery Man for opening my eyes. I love you for that.
Xoxo.

REEDER'S PROPHECY XXIII- LOVE STORY

When I used to work in the magazine industry, my creative director loves the theme, "Love Story". Mystery man and I have the similar story line like Ryan O'Neal and Ali McGraw. After his recent trip to New York, we became so close. I feel like he has fallen for me... big time. To tell you the truth, I think I am in love with him. Well! He calls me everyday.

Our relationship has gone deeper. Mystery man has a big problem... he can't be publicly known that he is gay. I am still thinking... is it worth it? Like a compass it goes in different directions... our relationship.

I do not know how long I can keep up with it. He is making the biggest effort by visiting me in the Philippines.

Like the movie, I am his Jennifer Baron. It's such a love story. Up to now, I cannot believe it.

REEDER'S PROPHECY XXII- ASIA PACIFIC

Oh dear! It's 530am in the morning in New York. While I am typing this entry, I am on the phone with Mystery Man. He is telling me that he is coming to Manila to surprise me and spend time together. He does not want to tell me the exact dates. Why? I do not know.

A couple of days ago, he asked what I want for the Holidays. I told him that I want an office space in Midtown. He started laughing.

My relationship with him is getting deeper.

When he was here, my whole apartment was full of clothes for my client T.M. He teased me to wear a red Marchesa ballgown. He liked the idea. I told him that red does not work on my skin tone. I felt like Scarlett O'Hara for a second.

And the SAGA with Mystery Man continues.

REEDER'S PROPHECY XXI- THINNING OUT

Mystery man saw a recent picture of me on facebook. He called me and said that I am getting thinner. I told him that I am stressed with work. He knows me very well when I have so much work... I forget to eat.

In his line of work, he tries to save the entire planet. He told me stories about his trips to Nepal and to some remote jungles in Asia. He had to prepare in all of his expeditions. He has his survival kit with him the whole time.

He calls me kiddo every time I disobey him. Hahahaha.

He said, "You know what kiddo? I always prepare myself when I go on a trip."

I replied, "Really? I cannot go on a survival trip without bringing a portable bathroom and gummy bears."

He started laughing.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that we would spend quality time in Manila.

He wants to see the Aman resort in Palawan.

My God! The red Marchesa gown is memorable to him. He knows that.

SUNDAY WORK!!!

I am just waiting for my second assistant Theresa to come and help me bring clothes to my client T.M. She will appear tonight in the taping of a famous show in channel 11.

I just got back from an afternoon function and I am really tired. I am bringing her some amazing clothes for Palm Beach.

Let's just hope she likes everything.

Xoxoxo.

REEDER'S PROPHECY XX- 530AM

Every morning, Mystery man makes it a point to call me at 530am. We became very close when he was here last week. Too bad I did not spent time with him because I was working very hard.

He told me that he is working his schedule to come to Manila and spend the holidays with me. He is making an effort to see me across the globe.

He keeps me grounded. He will always be a huge part of my life. Thanks to him, all of the negative people are finally out of my life... FOREVER.

PS: He loves his Paul Smith and James Perse White T-shirts.

FRIDAY'S NIGHT OUT WITH THE GIRLS!!!

Last night, my client's supported a friend of ours for her Pop-up store in Scoop New York City. The dynamic duo opted for the subtle 80's look. T.M. loves her Lee Angel Cuff and D.M. loves her jewelry from Kenneth Jay Lane.

My job is done and I think these friends of mine hit it big.
For sure, there will be a second season.

SOCIAL SCARE!!!

New York is a playground for all the socialites. If you are a true socialite, you have to look at yourself first in the mirror before heading out.

I just laugh when I see women try so hard to be edgy... NOT.
Here are images of one of my social acquaintances... BE THE JUDGE.

By the way, WHO IS YOUR STYLIST BABE?

STELLAR SUPERSTAR!!!

The next leg of the shoot for my project with a prestigious network is Palm Beach. The shoot wraps up on November 23. My team and I were prepping for my client's outfits for Florida. You know I love color.

Color makes me happy. Whenever I wear an all black ensemble, I am tired for the day. My client's metamorphosis reached through the stratosphere. She is an easy person to deal with. Why? She loves color and she knows how to work it.

I was chatting with Michael (first assistant) about the project. I am a little bit sad cause it is about to end. I know there will a second season. There will be another season for this show. I am glad that my client is very happy with what I am doing.

All she kept on saying to me, "I love you Gipetto. Thank you for making me look stellar."

SIMPLICITY IS THE ESSENCE OF SOPHISTICATION!!!

I am so proud of my client. She is an easy person to work with. She has the face and the body to put things together.

She looked stunning last night. The magenta skirt and royal blue ruffled top complimented her tweed studded coat.

She knows how to work. Go! Go! Go!

Love you the TradeMark...

STYLE WITH POWER!!!

LOOK AT ME!!!

MAJOR DISASTER!!!

I am amazed how women in New York think that they are chic because they follow the latest trends on the runway. They are wrong.

It does not mean you wear head to toe designer label means you are the current it girl... NO. You have to know the following: body type, color, silhouette, and texture.

I admire women who just throw things together and look chic. These are some of my social acquaintances that try too hard to be stylish. It looks bad in photos. Take note! The hairstyle is a big factor. I am so bummed that these women do not know anything.

The mirror is invented so you can have a last look of yourself... DUH!!!

I think they are fashion victims.

OUT OF BLOODY CENTRAL ZOO!!!
AM I GOING TO NIGHT SCHOOL?
WRONG EVENT! I SHOULD BE IN DANCING WITH THE STARS!!!

TOO SEVERE... 80'S WITH NO WHAM!!!

MY CLIENT'S METAMORPHOSIS

I have been working with a friend for her show in January. Here are some of the looks I have done for her.

Enjoy.

REEDER'S PROPHECY XIX- MULTI CONTINENTAL CALLS

After our rendezvous last week, Mystery man and I became closer. Our relationship is still open because he is still not out to the public. The problem is that we have common social friends.

He had to fly to the West Coast and pick-up his things. He made a pit stop in Oregon at some sneaker convention. He loves his shoes... size 15 for a 6 foot 6 guy. I feel like Marie Antoinette being spoiled by his king. Hahahahahahaha.

Besides my guru, Mystery Man calls me everyday at 530am. He told me that I should start jogging again and see the beauty of Central Park. Since he does not celebrate Christmas, he was insisting that I should get a watch as a present for the Holidays. I told him to give me the tower of London. He should charge it to his American Express.

He started laughing.

Mystery man will always be a part of my life. He makes me grounded. He told me to get rid of all of my negative friends. He opened my eyes. All of my burdens are gone... thanks to him.

Well! He promised me that he will visit me in Manila during the holidays.
Now I know how it feels to be loved by a mysterious man.

PS: I AM NOT IN DREAMLAND... THIS IS THE TRUTH.

NINTENDO VIXENS!!!

Last Thursday, my two clients skipped the Apollo Circle Gala hosted by Carolina Herrera. Instead, they went to the launch of Wii's New Video Game of Mario Brothers. T.M. was wearing an amazing dress from my good friend, CFDA/Vogue Fund Nominee Wayne Lee. The shoes are from Alejandro Ingelmo and the cuff is from Lee Angel.

On the other hand, my client's dashing sister D.M. wore a magenta lingerie inspired hot pink Dior dress. Accessories were provided by Lia Sophia and Christian Louboutin. After the party, they were so happy and sent me text messages.

I am slowly changing their looks.

PS: I am glad that all the negative people around me... gone. The phoenix is my favorite mythical bird. I am the true PHOENIX. Get the picture copycats.

PHOENIX STRIKES BACK!!!

Yay! Today was an easy day for me. I had a meeting in the morning and a couple of appointments for my fabulous client, T.M. I pulled some amazing pieces for her. She will surely die when she sees it.

Tomorrow night is a big night for me. I am in talks with another good friend of mine who will have a show in Lifetime Network. I met her through my friend Claudia. I believe this is the start of my phoenix career. I have been waiting for so long. Someone upstairs is watching over me. I am speechless.

For a fulfilling day, I bought a bottle of wine to celebrate. My associates need a break. They work so hard and I am so blessed to have them in my team.

Patience is indeed a virtue.

I would like to thank my friends, family, and mystery man... for supporting me.

FIT FOR AN AMERICAN BEAUTY

This past Thursday, Mark and PJ invited me to a party at the Fashion Institute Of Technology of New York. The museum at F.I.T. celebrated the American Beauty. The installation was a success. Designers like Francisco Costa, Bibhu Mohapatra, Gilles Mendel, Costello Tagliapietra, Yeohlee Teng, Jean Yu, Justin Guinta, and Thom Browne were present to see their works of art on display. The name of the exhibit is American Beauty. They featured all the top dresses of American designers. What caught my eyes? The three lovely dresses from Rodarte... Amazing.

We were chatting with Patricia Mears about the installation. PJ Pascual's friend, Mark Walsh, has so much knowledge when it comes to fashion history. I enjoy hanging out with them. As we were all about to leave, Daphne Guinness arrived. I had a chance to meet her. I love her modern day Dorothy Gale shoes... Antonio Berardi.

It was a fun-filled evening. I felt like I was home again.

WHAT A DAY?

Appearing on TV can be so much fun. It's either you are conscious with the camera or you're not.
Tonight, I had to dress up my client in an amazing gown with Kara Ross jewelry. She looked so stunning. I am not a big fan in tone on tone. At the end of the day, she is my client.

My friend, Leica Carpo, had a chance to appear on a reality show. She portrayed as my first assistant. We had so much fun. I believe this is one of her most memorable trips in New York.

After that, I had to meet my guru and go to an exclusive event at FIT. We had fun times.
That's all folks. Oops!!! Mystery man is on the other line. What does he need this time? I guess he likes me playing dress up with gowns.

MY TRIUMPH FOR THE EVENING... T.M.!!!

TOUGH DAYS!!!

Oh my God. I have not updated my blog in days. I apologize for being tardy. I have been so busy with my new project with this upcoming reality show. I have been running around like a fashion lunatic. I love it, but I am getting tired... my gas is running out. Imagine, styling 3 women at the same time.

Yesterday, I had to pull gowns for the last minute. My peeps in the industry love me to death. They would open showrooms for me.

I am glad they love me. It pays of to be nice.
