$4.71 DELIGHT!!!

I cannot function well without caffeine in the morning. I gave up drinking sodas for 6 years. I can live without it. What I can't live without? Going to Starbucks and getting my venti vanilla latte every morning.

Yes! I know there are so many calories in it, but it is my guilty pleasure.
Since this coffee company is famous, the line is so long. I get annoyed at times, but I do not mind at all.

Who cares? As long as I have my coffee drink, I am happy about it.

LAUGHING OUT LOUD!!!

I have something interesting to share with you. After having dinner with my mother, sister, and Anna, I went downtown to meet my blind date. My friend arranged this meeting for months. He was so excited because he believes that we will hit off.

To tell you the truth, we did not. We did not even reach our first course.
Why? He told me that I had dirt on my face. I went to the bathroom. When I came back, he was gone.

He apologized and said that I was too feminine. I was wearing jeans, boat shoes, and a Marni bag (the bag must gave him the hint).
What a joke? I started laughing. I called my friends to come over. We started drinking.
I do not waste my time in getting mad. It adds up so many wrinkles.

HAPPY THOUGHTS!!!

REEDER'S PROPHECY IX- TEXT MESSAGE

I have not talked about mystery man for a long time. He has been very busy with his projects. Of course, he knows I love shoes. His generosity is beyond the stratosphere.

While I was having dinner with Anna from Town and Country, I received a random text message from Mystery Man. For the first time, he told me about his problems. He said that he was having a difficult time with his project. I told him to stick to his guns. He is good in fixing things.

I tried shifting the conversation to a happier tone... it did not work. It seems like he is having major issues about his project.

As his friend/confidant/shoe lover, I kept on encouraging him to push himself harder. At the end of the day, he can figure things out... he is the man behind all of this.

I am glad that our relationship is not all about shoes... even more.
Well! It is harder for the two of us. This relationship is morphing to something wonderful.

I hope it will last. I live one day at a time.
Mwah!!!

SOLE FRIENDS!!!

I met Alejandro when I was working for a famous magazine in New York. I remember my creative director telling me to get his shoes for the run-through(pitching accessories to the creative director and editor-in-chief to be shot on still-life for the magazine's advance issue).

He was on his way to Weschester. I had to hop in a cab and go to Grand Central. I did not know how he looks like.

He told me to meet him in front of Banana Republic. To my surprise, he was not bad looking. I introduced myself and gave him my business card.

I had to rush back to the office for the run-through. Now, he is bigger than ever... career wise.
He was nominated for the CFDA Vogue fund awards. He made it to the top. I am very proud of him. I am glad that we maintained our friendship.

After 3 years, I own Alejandro Ingelmo's shoes. I am glad that his empire is growing.

STILL FROM LAST NIGHT!!!

At Table 8, I bumped into my good friend Jessica Nagel. She is the VP for public relations for J.Mendel. She is the sweetest. She was having dinner with her boyfriend. I met her a couple of years ago through Lauren Santon Domingo.

The nice thing about Jessica, she did not change. She has an amazing personality. Xoxoxoxo.

And of course, I love my friend's creations. Who else? Gilles Mendel, the designer.

TABLE 8!!!

Last night was so much fun. I had dinner with friends and my sister at Table 8.
I would like to thank my good friend Noel de la Rama for recommending the place.

The restaurant is located inside the new Cooper Square hotel. It opened last May to the public.
The food was amazing.

I had a couple of red wines. You know what that means?
After dinner, we went to Bagatelle. We met up with some friends and they gave us fruity shots.
Here I go again with the shots... lethal.

Then, we went to this new hip place called Avenue. It is located on 10th avenue and 17th street.
Very chic place. You have to be on the guest list. Thank God we have friends in the industry.

I think I am going back to bed. I totally forgot to drink ADVIL last night.
