I was not fascinated with Chanel's Haute Couture collection. I know Karl Lagerfeld is a genius, but this was not his best. I admire the stage presentation, but the clothes were not above par. The craftsmanship in each piece can be seen. There were velvet trims on shadow plaids, crystal trims on camel, fur trims on tweeds. Dark tapestry was crusted with embroidery and beading.
I am looking forward to what Karl has to offer next.
