This year, The Couture Council of FIT will give the prestigious Artistry Award to Valentino. He is one of the masters in the fashion industry. He is one of the favorite designers for celebrities during red carpet awards season. Dr. Joyce Brown, Valerie Steele, Patricia Mears, Yaz Hernandez, Liz Peek, Alexandra Lebenthal, and Charlotte Moss are the powerful women behind the success of the council. The luncheon is the biggest event during fashion week. It will take place at Avery Fischer Hall in Lincoln Center on September 7.
