It was sad news when I heard that French Vogue editor-in-chief resigned from her post. Carine Roitfeld is one of the most influential editrix of our times. The famous smoky eyes became a fashion trend for the longest time by the editor. She has been the muse and stylist of Tom Ford which made the brands of Gucci and YSL a success.
With Tom Ford's launch of his women's line, I wouldn't be surprised if she will be joining her long-time friend. I had the chance to meet her and she is an amazing woman. She is very friendly and brilliant evoking her personal style.
She will never disappear. She will always be there to make fashion as forward as it can get.
