Nicholas Ghesqueire is one of the most talented designers of our time. He brought the house of Balenciaga to a higher level. Every season, he presents jaw dropping clothes on the runway. For pre-fall, he went back to the feminine side of the house. His fascination for chic street wear shows in this collection. Shades of black, red, gray, blue, and beige were some of the colors his used this season.
In respect for the late Cristobal Balenciaga, he references his work into the great master's archive. The combination of using old and new techniques is Nicholas' secret formula. He is a designer who is focused on what he wants to do.
Everytime I see a woman wearing Balenciaga, she feels untouchable. His woman feels like she is ready to conquer the world. The clothes give you the sense of power and sophistication. For me, Nicholas is doing a GREAT JOB for the house. He is carrying Cristobal's legacy in a modern way.
