VICTORIA HAS A SECRET- SSSHHHH!

For the first time, I love the weather in New York... a bit breezy.  Yesterday, I sent a text message to one of my closest gal pals, Anne V. (Womyn Models) to meet for lunch.  

FLASHBACK!!!

While waiting outside the Vogue offices, I started talking to this 19 years old model. She is so sweet. She told me that she was there for a model casting.  I am such a visual person... meaning I do not read a lot.  At that time, she told me to read a book a day. My response was, "I get bored easily".  She laughed at me. Then, I started laughing. Why? I do not like reading books. I needed someone to tell me the story. Lazy Taurus? Gipetto style.

My friend, Meredith Melling Burke, came out of the glass doors of the VOGUE office.  She gave me a sound advice on what I should do. Well ! She helped me a lot.  If it weren't for her, I would not be here in  the fashion industry.  Hahahaha!!!! I did some work too.  I said my goodbyes to Anne.

The following year, I bumped into Anne again.  Our second meeting was at the Costume Institute Ball, Chanel style, in New York City .  She was wearing a white and black gown. We started dancing in the museum. We had a couple of champagnes and... we went to Bungalow 8 ( the hottest club before).

I told Anne, "You cannot escape from me. We are soul sisters now."  She giggled and she gave me her number. From then on, we became bests of friends.

NOW!!!

Today,  I had lunch with her at Fred's of Barneys. I have not seen her in months. She was telling me about her trip to Russia. We also gave each other tips on boys... I won't go into details because my blog ain't porno. She was also eager to know about my trips to the Philippines and Shanghai.  God! I really miss her.  And also, I told her that I have a new company with a former editor called STYLE EXPERTS. She was excited about the company.  She said, "Definitely boogs, I will help you." LET'S DRINK TO THAT...

I consider Anne as one of my dearest friends. She has a special place in my heart.

I love you Anne.
