I live in a studio apartment in the city of New York. Last year, I decided to do major renovations for my little lair.
I told the contractor that I want my floor to be white. It made my apartment look big. Of course, my place is always clean. Since I am not a bathtub kind of guy, I told my contractor to re do the whole bathroom. Now, it's crystal clear.
If I am well put together when I go out, my apartment has to be the same too... CLEAN.
I am glad that I have my OWN sanctuary in New York... modesty aside.
