I am very pleased to announce that one of my favorite designers is coming to New York, Dries Van Noten. On September 9, 2009, Dries will be receiving an artistry fashion award from FIT (Fashion Institute Of Technology). The luncheon will be held at Cipriani's on 42nd street at noon. Of course, I will be there with my colleagues to support him. HAHAHAHA!!!
This marks the 4th year of the institution of giving awards to deserving designers. In the past, Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz and Chado Ralph Rucci were among the recipients.
Dries deserves this award. He has an amazing vision... PRINTS PLEASE.
